Phantom Fades is what happens when a great barber loves horror movies, hates corporate barbershops, and decides to build a place that feels like neither.

The Story

A SHOP WITH A POINT OF VIEW.

Most barbershops in Burnsville pick a template. Vintage Americana, mid-century Mad-Men, or generic-quiet-modern. They’re fine. Phantom Fades is something else.

Walk in and you’ll find Walking Dead posters next to a sugar skull, Michael Myers next to your antique gold barber chair, the PHANTOM FADES letters on the back wall in case you forgot where you were. It’s our taste, our culture, and the reason a couple hundred regulars keep coming back.

Underneath all of it is the work. Skin fades. Tapers. Beard sculpts. Kid’s cuts that don’t end in tears. Hot towel finishes on every service. A roster of barbers who’ve been doing this long enough to know what works on your hair before you sit down.
